Saudi Arabia advanced 10 places in the Green Future Index for 2022.

The Green Future Index, issued by the MIT Technology Review, rates 76 countries in terms of their ability to develop a sustainable, low-emissions future.

The assessment includes energy investment, innovation, and green policies, and measures the economy’s shift toward clean energy: industry, agriculture, and society.

The Kingdom is the first globally in the renewable energy production growth index, 12th globally in the energy transformation axis, and 13th globally in the climate policies axis.
