Saudi Foreign Minister announces that the Kingdom will host the next Arab summit

Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan announced Wednesday that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will host the next Arab Summit.

The Arab leaders agreed to hold the Arab League Council meeting at the summit level in its 32nd regular session in Saudi Arabia in 2023.

Algeria confirmed in its declaration regarding the Arab summit that this summit affirms the centrality of the Palestinian cause.

Furthermore, the declaration affirms total support for the rights of the Palestinian people.

The summit declaration emphasized adherence to the Arab Peace Initiative with all its elements and priorities.

The declaration stressed the need to continue efforts and endeavors to protect the occupied city of Jerusalem and its holy sites.

The declaration asserted full support for the State of Palestine’s approach to obtaining full membership in the United Nations.
