Saudi Arabia to participate in Falcon Eye 3 air drill in Greece

Royal Saudi Air Force is participating in the ” Falcon Eye 3 ” air drill, which is being carried out from November 7 to 20, at Souda Air Base in the Republic of Greece.

Major General Al-Ghamdi said that the “Falcon Eye 3 ” drills are among the most promising bilateral air exercises for our air forces and their Greek counterparts. Their past versions have achieved success at all strategic, operational, and tactical levels.

The Commander of the Air Force Group participating in the exercise, Colonel Pilot Khalifa Al-Enezi, said that the Saudi Air Force is participating with many F-15 fighter planes with their entire air, technical and support crews.

The maneuvers aim to enhance cooperation between the Royal Saudi Air Force and its Greek counterpart. It also aims to enhance the level of combat readiness of the Air Force; to accomplish this by flying across international borders, performing operational and training tasks, and exchanging military experiences.

The group participating in the maneuvers at King Fahd Air Base in the Western Sector was farewelled by the Deputy Commander of the Air Force, Major General Pilot Talal bin Suleiman Al-Ghamdi, where he took stock of the preparations and listened to a briefing from the commander of the Air Force group participating in the maneuvers, Colonel Pilot Khalifa bin Daghfaq Al-Anzi.
