Saudi Ambassador to Morocco Meets with Bahraini Counterpart
The Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Kingdom of Morocco, Sami bin Abdullah Al-Saleh, met today in Rabat with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Morocco, Khalid bin Salman Al-Musallam.
The Saudi ambassador to Morocco and his counterpart discussed aspects of the bilateral relations between the two countries, in addition to topics of mutual interest, reported Saudi Press Agency.
Manama Dialogue in Bahrain
The Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud arrived in Bahrain in last November to participate in the nineteenth session of IISS Manama Dialogue.
Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Bahraini Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Chargé d’Affaires of KSA embassy in Bahrain and number of officials welcomed the Saudi minister at Bahrain International Airport.
IISS Manama Dialogue started November 17 and lasted until November 19, 2023.
It is a forum where ministers, policy makers and business communities discuss the Middle East’s foreign policy and security challenges.
This forum has been taking place annually since 2004.
Meeting between Minister of Hajj & Bahrain’s Minister of Justice
KSA’s Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah, met with Bahrain’s Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs, and Endowments, Nawaf bin Mohammed Al-Maawda last year.
This meeting signified a strong bond between the two nations, especially in religious affairs pertaining to Hajj and Umrah.
The ministers discussed ways to enhance cooperation for Hajj and Umrah during this visit.
During the discussion, there was a notable emphasis on the longstanding ties between Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.
These ties have continuously developed under their respective leaderships.
The Bahraini minister also highlighted that preparations for the upcoming Hajj season were underway through a series of meetings between the Bahraini and Saudi ministries.
He praised a comprehensive development plan recently launched by Saudi Arabia’s ministry aimed at streamlining Hajj registration procedures.
Additionally, Al-Maawda commended the Saudi government for the exceptional attention it provides to pilgrims from various Islamic countries.
Al-Mawada cited services such as the Nusuk platform, a system that facilitates the pilgrimage process.
Moreover, Al-Maawda acknowledged the efforts made by Saudi Arabia under the leadership of King Salman bin Abdulaziz to provide the best services to pilgrims.
He particularly commended the tremendous efforts exerted by Saudi Arabia in this regard.
This meeting is part of a broader dialogue between Saudi Arabia and Bahrain to enhance religious, judicial, and societal collaborations.
The discussions, during the meeting, reflected a mutual understanding and shared vision for facilitating and improving the pilgrimage experience for Muslims.
