Saudi Arabia’s artificial intelligence company HUMAIN intends to pursue a dual listing on both the Saudi Tadawul and the American NASDAQ exchanges within the next four years, the company’s chief executive officer announced on Tuesday.
Tareq Amin made this highly anticipated announcement during a news conference held on the sidelines of the prominent Future Investment Initiative (FII), the Kingdom’s flagship global investment conference. Consequently, this massive ambition clearly underscores the firm’s explosive growth trajectory just months after its launch under the Public Investment Fund (PIF) sovereign wealth fund.
Amin confidently stated the company’s immense global intentions, emphasizing that such rapid expansion requires significant capital investment and international presence. He asserted, “I have no doubt that in three to four years, this company must be listed, and I hope that it gets listed here and on the NASDAQ as well. So, our ambition is really, really massive.”
Vision 2030 Alignment
Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman launched HUMAIN in May as a crucial component of the Kingdom’s ambitious drive to transform into a global leader and major hub for AI technology innovation and development.
Furthermore, this foundational effort actively supports the massive multibillion-dollar Vision 2030 economic diversification program, which aims to transition Saudi Arabia’s economy successfully away from reliance on oil revenue. Regarding its supply chain, HUMAIN currently sources essential high-performance chips from industry giants like NVIDIA, AMD, Qualcomm, and Groq to actively power its large-scale data centers and sophisticated multi-agent AI platform.
Interestingly, Amin also suggested that one of these major global suppliers of crucial AI chips was actively considering a substantial direct investment into HUMAIN, although he wisely declined to name the specific entity involved.
Global Deployment of HUMAIN One
Meanwhile, the ambitious company unveiled its groundbreaking new product, HUMAIN One, on Tuesday, marking a paradigm shift in computer interaction and operating software development for the global market. HUMAIN One represents a sophisticated computer operating system that relies entirely on advanced AI technology, fundamentally moving away from the simplistic, icon-based operating systems that computers have utilized since the 1980s.
Specifically, Amin highlighted the historical significance of this bold architectural departure for government and enterprise clients. He stated, “It is the first time since 1985 that we depart from the traditional operating system. This is a true AI operating system with AI agents now to manage everything and anything you need.”
HUMAIN One is presently fully deployed across various sections of the Saudi government and is actively running in effective pilot programs within three major PIF entities. Looking ahead, the company has announced concrete, aggressive plans to strategically expand its deployment and implementation of the operating system on a large scale across the entire globe.
Additionally, HUMAIN maintains an established partnership with Google and plans to soon announce a significant collaboration agreement with Amazon Web Services (AWS), cementing its position in the global cloud ecosystem. Finally, Amin confirmed that the company has also held constructive strategic meetings with OpenAI, the pioneering firm responsible for the development of the globally recognized ChatGPT platform.
