Roma have reached an agreement with saudi pro league side Al-Hilal for the permanent transfer of right-back Saud Abdulhamid.
The Saudi national team right-back is finalizing a permanent transfer to the Giallorossi. The deal is worth a guaranteed €2.5 million, with potential add-ons that could increase the total amount to €3 million.
Abdulhamid is expected in Rome on Monday to undergo the ritual medical tests, before signing the contract with the Giallorossi.

Abdulhamid will become the first Saudi player to play professionally in Serie A.
The 25-year-old has earned 26 senior caps for his country and competed in the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar. During that tournament, he played the full 90 minutes in Saudi Arabia’s historic 2-1 victory over eventual champions Argentina.
Meanwhile AlHilal is targeting a move for out-of-favour Manchester City full-back Joao Cancelo to replace the outgoing Abdulhamid according to Fabrizio Romano.
