Princess Reema Bint Bandar inaugurates NGO Catmosphere
Princess Reema bint Bandar, Saudi Ambassador to the USA, inaugurated the non-profit Catmosphere organization. The launch of the NGO came to preserve the life of wild cats “felids”, including the Arabian leopard, and to protect their natural life cycle.
The organization aims to promote and support the work of Panthera and dedicate exclusively to the conservation of 40 species of wild cats in the world. It will launch several strategic initiatives, in addition to awareness campaigns.
In turn, Princess Reema bint Bandar explained that the NGO would establish programs to reduce the threat to the survival of wild cats, as they are endangered ones.
She expressed her happiness and praise of the cooperation agreement signed by the Royal Commission for Al-Ula Governorate with the Panthera Organization.
The agreement supports the launch of Catmosphere and the efforts to resettle the Arabian leopard and restore the natural balance required for its existence and the diverse wildlife of the Kingdom.
