President of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Group, Dr. Muhammad Al Jasser, has officially launched the “Tadamon 2.0 – Seeds of Solidarity” program, ushering in the second phase of the Bank’s flagship initiative to combat poverty. This new phase is being rolled out in partnership with several leading global organizations.
Since its inception in 2019, the Tadamon program has gained recognition as an innovative and impactful effort focused on reducing poverty and vulnerability among underserved and remote communities across IsDB member countries.
Speaking at the launch event, Dr. Al Jasser highlighted that more than 32 member nations are currently facing fragility and conflict. He stressed that managing risks and shocks while strengthening resilience is a core component of the IsDB Group’s strategic vision for 2026–2035.

He noted that Tadamon 2.0 represents a shift from isolated initiatives to broader, scalable impact, as well as a move from short-term solutions toward building sustainable, long-term resilience.
The launch event brought together leaders and representatives from partner organizations, including UN agencies, international NGOs, and civil society groups. It also included the signing of cooperation agreements with six major development partners, all committing to support the implementation of Tadamon 2.0 alongside the Islamic Development Bank.
