Nusuk Platform in Casablanca
The Nusuk platform for distinguished services and facilities provided to pilgrims and Umrah performers found its way to Casablanca last Thursday.
Nusuk Platform
Originally launched in 2022, Nusuk aims to improve the quality of services provided to pilgrims and enhance their religious experience.
It is a user-friendly platform to help pilgrims have an easy and organized visit to the Kingdom, starting from booking their tickets untill going back home. Aiming to help visitors during their time in the Kingdom, it offers lists of holy sites, means of transportation and accommodation. It has different languages to aid visitors from all over the world.
This platform is part of Saudi Arabia’s efforts to improve the quality of services provided to pilgrims and enhance their religious experience.
The Saudi Tourism Authority launched the “NUSUK” platform in cooperation with the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, aiming to improve the pilgrims’ experience and facilitate their arrival procedures to perform Umrah and visit from all over the world.
NUSUK is one of the initiatives of the Pilgrims Service Program. It goes hand in hand with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 that aims to enhance the tourism and travel sectors.
Within the framework of facilitating visits to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Saudi authorities have adopted several types of visas that allow performing Umrah and visiting the Prophet’s Mosque, with the possibility of roaming the Kingdom and visiting tourist sites.
Nusuk in Casablanca
The NUSUK platform comes within the framework of Saudi Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah’s official visit to the Kingdom of Morocco. Al-Rabiah headed of an important delegation within the framework of supporting the existing relations between the two countries and working to improve the arrival procedures of Umrah performers and visitors from the Kingdom of Morocco.
They presented rich information, innovative services and unprecedented facilities provided by the unified government platform “NUSUK”, in addition to highlighting opportunities and supporting the private sector in both countries in order to serve the pilgrims.
Further Saudi Facilities for Moroccans
Besides the Nusuk Platform, the Tashir Center in Morocco was launched. It aims to enable Moroccans to get the Saudi visa in just 48 hours. Thanks to the Tashir Center, for 3 months, Umrah visa holders will be able to roam between Saudi cities.
The visit of Al Rabiah included Moroccan Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs and Saudi Airlines signing an agreement for the transportation of Moroccan pilgrims visiting Saudi Arabia.
On this occasion, the CEO and Board Member of the Saudi Tourism Authority and General Supervisor of “NUSUK”, Fahad Hamidaddin, stressed that “the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will continue its efforts related to serving the pilgrims through these significant briefing tours that build bridges of communication and open horizons of cooperation in order to enrich the journey of Umrah pilgrims and visitors.”
