Netanyahu Intends to Brief Trump on Potential Renewed Strikes on Iran

Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu intends to brief US President Donald Trump that any expansion ‌of ‌Iran’s ‌ballistic missile program threatens Israel’s security and could require swift action, according to Reuters.

Israeli officials have voiced growing concern that Iran is currently rebuilding nuclear enrichment facilities previously targeted by US strikes in June, NBC News reported.

In response, they are planning to brief Trump on potential options for renewed action against Iran’s missile program.

The US-based Institute for Science and International Security (ISIS) reported that fresh satellite imagery reveals recent activity at Iran’s Natanz nuclear facility, which was severely damaged during the 12‑day conflict with Israel in June.

These findings show ongoing developments at one of the Iran’s most sensitive nuclear sites.

During the Iranian Israeli war that outbroke on June 13, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) verified that Israeli airstrikes hit Iran’s Natanz underground enrichment facility.

The think tank reported that satellite images taken on December 13 reveal panels installed atop the surviving anti‑drone structure at the Pilot Fuel Enrichment Plant (PFEP), effectively covering the damaged facility.

The report claimed that Iran has installed the new covering to recover materials from the rubble while limiting outside surveillance.

Situated roughly 250 kilometers south of Tehran, the Natanz uranium enrichment complex stands as one of Iran’s most significant and controversial nuclear sites in the Middle East.
