The “Catwalk” initiative allows participants to walk individually or in groups. Participants can select which of the 7 wild cats they will gift their participation to. As a result, the selected cat will be the logo of the team they join during the launch of the initiative. Participants can travel up to 7 km for adults or 700 m for children and families.
The initiative witnessed prominent community participation from all ages with a 7-kilometre celebratory march.
Cat -walk Initiative
The global initiative led by Catmosphere Foundation encourages people to walk 7 km in open air. The walk contributes to raising awareness about the benefits of sports activities such as walking and running, and their importance on physical and psychological health.
Healthy lifestyle
The Cat Walk initiative gives participants the opportunity to test their sporting activity and achieve a healthy lifestyle. In addition, it helps them stimulate their full physical energy, protect their bodies from laziness, and raise their awareness about preserving the lives of wild cats all over the world.
Prizes and Awards
As an appreciation of the role of wild cats in achieving environmental balance, participants will have the opportunity to gift the distances they had traveled to one of their favorite wild cats. The cats include the lion, tiger, cheetah, snow leopard, jaguar, puma, and leopard.
Furthermore, the people in charge of counting the marching teams’ steps, the Cat Walk team, will award a reward to the team whose members cover the greatest distance walking together.
