According to a report released in April by the Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones, MODON, private sector investments in the Kingdom’s industrial field more than doubled in the first quarter of 2024, exceeding SR7 billion.

“We look forward to leading the private sector in increasing investment in the manufacturing sector and leveraging the rapid growth in the Kingdom,” Bin Salamah added. He revealed the ongoing cooperation between the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources and the Ministry of Energy to foster the integration of petrochemical supply chains in the Kingdom.

These efforts are in line with the Saudi Vision 2030, which aims to diversify the Kingdom’s economy by encouraging the private sector to be a key player in its industrial strategy.
