King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST) marked a significant milestone today. It revealed three pivotal alliances at the Leap Tech Conference 2024, according to Saudi Press Agency.

KACST’s collaboration with SenseTime Middle East and Africa is noteworthy. It focuses on embracing cutting-edge technologies. Together, they plan to establish a shared AI excellence center. This center will specialize in generative and general AI. The goal is multifaceted: conduct research, spearhead AI initiatives, enhance human skills, offer sectoral solutions, market innovations, and create AI learning modules.
Semiconductor Industry Localization with CDT International
KACST’s tie-up with CDT International Limited targets the semiconductor arena. Their collective vision is to uplift the Kingdom’s semiconductor industry. They’re crafting a unified vision and strategic blueprint. This effort aligns with the Saudi Semiconductor Program (SSP) aims.
