Ministry of Culture Launches Taif Rose Festival
The Taif Rose Festival, inaugurated by the Ministry of Culture on May 7, 2024, is a vibrant celebration with more than 15 activities. It brings farmers together for workshops and a splendid rose parade through the streets of Taif.
Multifaceted Experience at Al Radif Park
In addition to these festivities, Al Radif Park hosts a plethora of events. Visitors can explore a rose market, immerse themselves in the enchanting night garden, marvel at Rose Mountain, and indulge in the Tramim Rose Exhibition. The festival also offers Krylian shows, an Impressionist Alley, a delectable food area, captivating performances at the main stage theater.
Tracing Tradition: From Past to Present
Spanning from the 27th of Shawwal to the 11th of Dhu al-Qi’dah, 1445 AH, equivalent to May 6 to the 19th of the same month, the festival traces its origins back to 1426 AH. Initially held in Taif, renowned for its 860 rose farms, the festival has grown into a cherished tradition.

At its core, the festival aims to promote Taif roses, offering insights into their growth stages, harvest techniques, and distillation processes.
