Mawani Introduces MSC’s North India–Middle East Service to King Abdullah Port

The Saudi Ports Authority (Mawani) has announced the launch of Mediterranean Shipping Company’s (MSC) North India–Middle East shipping service at King Abdullah Port, located in King Abdullah Economic City in Rabigh. This initiative is expected to enhance the competitiveness of Saudi ports, facilitate global trade flows, and improve operational efficiency.

Mawani records milestone on Liner shipping connectivity index

The new service connects King Abdullah Port with key regional and international ports, including Mundra Port and Jawaharlal Nehru Port (Nhava Sheva) in India, before returning to Rabigh. The service operates with a capacity of up to 2,500 TEUs.

King Abdullah Port continues to reinforce its position as a major logistics hub by leveraging advanced operational capabilities and a wide range of services. These efforts support efficient cargo movement, strengthen supply chains, and boost the global and regional standing of Saudi ports.
