KSrelief Signs $10.4 Million Aid Agreement to Assist Ukraine
The Saudi aid agency KSrelief has signed a $10.4 million cooperation agreement with the UN High Commissioner for Refugees to provide shelter support for internally displaced people impacted by the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine.
The funds will be allocated to supply 11,000 shelter kits, 2,400 rapid heating kits, and a range of essential building materials to insulate homes for winter. This also support is expected to reach nearly 49,000 people.
The agreement was signed at KSrelief’s Riyadh headquarters by Ahmed bin Ali Al-Baiz, assistant supervisor for operations, and UNHCR Deputy High Commissioner Kelly Clements.

The agreement further underscores the Kingdom’s dedication to addressing urgent humanitarian needs and supporting vulnerable communities affected by crises. Moreover, the Kingdom aims to provide essential resources, including food, shelter, and healthcare, to those most in need.
Finally, this initiative aligns with global efforts to alleviate the suffering of displaced populations and promote stability in affected regions.
