Today, the Kingdom is hosting a consultative ministerial meeting on Gaza crisis and the events unfolding in the Strip, according to sra7h.

ICJ’s Ruling

Earlier this month, the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that KSA welcomed the interim ruling of the International Court of Justice (ICJ) on genocide in Gaza.

The court ordered Israel to stop any acts of genocide. Moreover, it ordered Israel to take all measures to punish direct and public incitement to commit genocide in relation to the Palestinian people in the besieged Gaza Strip.

Arab Islamic Gaza Summit

Moreover, the Saudi Crown Prince called for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza at the Arab Islamic Summit held last November in Riyadh.

Prior to the summit, Gaza witnessed a fresh wave of violence, bringing renewed international attention to the decades-long conflict. Thus, these escalations led to significant civilian casualties and widespread destruction, underscoring the urgency for a peaceful resolution.
