Kingdom’s Weather for Wednesday

The forecast for the coming Wednesday in Saudi Arabia is marked by thunderstorms across most regions, necessitating precautionary measures from residents.

As the temperature varies across different cities, there’s a mix of bright sunshine in some areas while others brace for thunderstorms and rainfall.

The weather events are pertinent to individuals and authorities, with the General Directorate of Civil Defence issuing warnings to residents.

Thunderstorm Alerts

The General Directorate of Civil Defence in Saudi Arabia has advised residents to be cautious as thunderstorms are predicted across most regions until the coming Wednesday.

They urged individuals to stay in safe locations and avoid areas susceptible to flooding such as water swamps and valleys.

The hazards associated with swimming in these dangerous zones  emphasized, urging the public to stay updated on weather conditions through various media outlets​​.

Temperature Variances

Different regions will experience varying temperatures. In Al Hofuf, a bright and cloudless sky  anticipated with a peak temperature of 38°C and a night low of 23°C.

Meanwhile, Jeddah is expected to have bright and mainly sunny weather with temperatures ranging between 29°C to 35°C​​.

Rainfall Expectation

Several regions including Mecca, Taif, Maysaan, Adham, Al Ardiyat, and Al Kamel, alongside Asir, Jazan, and Al Baha are expected to see torrential rains, accompanied by hail and strong winds.

In the Mecca region, areas including Al Jamoum, Bahrah, Al Qunfudhah, Al Layth, as well as the regions of Medina, the Northern Borders and Hail, are forecasted to experience light to moderate rainfall.

Light rain is also forecast over the northern border areas of Al Jouf, Tabuk, and Al Sharqiyah region​.

The weather forecast for the upcoming Wednesday prompts a mix of precaution and anticipation among the residents of Saudi Arabia.

While some regions enjoy sunny skies, others must brace for thunderstorms and rainfall, underscoring the diverse weather patterns across the Kingdom.
