Kingdom’s Sunday Weather Forecast

Weather Conditions
Saudi Arabia has been experiencing winter weather and heavy thunderstorms in various regions of the kingdom for the past few days.
The National Center of Meteorology issued its daily report on the expected weather conditions for today, Saturday, in different regions of the kingdom.
The report predicted the continuation of thunderstorms from moderate to heavy, leading to the flow of valleys and floods and accompanied by hail showers on the regions of Al-Baha, Asir, Jazan and Najran in Saudi Arabia.
It also noted the continuation of thunderstorms and accompanied by activity in the surface winds that stir up dust and sand on Mecca and Medina and extend their effect to the coastal parts of those regions, as well as the south of Tabuk, Hail, Eastern (Empty Quarter) and Riyadh (Wadi Al-Dawasir) regions.
It also pointed out that the surface winds that stir up dust and sand that limit the horizontal visibility are active on parts of the Eastern and Riyadh and Qassim regions, and their effect extends to the Najran region and the coastal road from Mecca to Jazan, with no exclusion of fog formation in the early morning on the highlands of Jazan, Asir and Al-Baha.
The kingdom witnessed on last Friday, the flow of rainwater like waterfalls from the mountains of Al-Madhiq in Wadi Al-Far south of Medina, where a circulating video clip showed how the waterfalls flowed amid rainfall and floods.
The heavy rains and floods stopped traffic on the Hijra road at Al-Hamna bridge south of Medina, and east of Tura’a east of Al-Ais northwest of Medina before sunset yesterday, Friday, thunder and lightning with very heavy rainfall and floods in Al-Ashash north of Khaybar.
Riyadh City

The average low is 27°C (81°F). Tomorrow, Jeddah will have partly sunny and very warm weather, with a high of 38°C (100°F) and a low of 28°C (82°F).
The wind will be from the north at 18 km/h (11 mph), and the humidity will be high at 71%. There is a slight chance of rain showers, and the UV index will be very high at 10.
Mecca City
Mecca: It is located in the Hejaz region.
It is bout 70 km (43 mi) inland from Jeddah.
Mecca has a hot desert climate, with very hot summers and warm winters.

Sunny, hot weather
Tomorrow, Mecca will have sunny and very hot weather, with a high of 41°C (106°F) and a low of 27°C (81°F). The wind will be from the east at 14 km/h (9 mph).

Medina: The second-holiest city in Islam is located in the northwestern part of Hejaz, about 180 km (112 miles) from Mecca.
