Kingdom aims to increase oil, gas production & export hydrogen: Saudi Energy Minister

Saudi Energy Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman announced recently the Kingdom’s strategic plans to increase its production of oil, gas, and clean energy.

On the sidelines of his speech at the inauguration of the iktva exhibition 2023, the minister added that the Kingdom has many projects currently under development. This indicates that the Kingdom is working to significantly increase its oil production capacity.

The minister explained that the Kingdom is working to increase gas production by approximately 60%, as we are working to add 4,000 kilometers of gas pipelines.

Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman indicated that the energy laboratory, which was launched recently has an investment value of about one billion dollars.

The minister also emphasized the Kingdom’s plans to secure green and blue clean hydrogen and export it to the world.

iktva will be the world’s leading event for the energy supply chain in 2023. It was launched for the first time in 2015, as Aramco’s campaign to increase local value as part of the Kingdom’s ambitious economic transformation goals. It hosts many small and large local and international exhibitions.

 The sufficiency exhibition 2023 runs for four consecutive days, starting on the first of February 2023 and ending on the second of February 2023. This corresponds to the eleventh day of the month of Rajab 1444 AH.

Saudi Aramco organizes this exhibition in an efficient and quality manner, exhibiting a wide variety of international and local inventions of various sizes and uses to attract investment.

 

Saudi Arabia hosts many exhibitions and festivals where products are showcased by international brands as well as some local businesses. These festivals include festivals designed to showcase Saudi heritage.
