Saudi Arabia, Russia cooperates with OPEC + to secure the stability of oil markets

Saudi Foreign Minister, HRH Prince Faisal bin Farhan, said that the partnership between the Kingdom and Russia has “secured stability” in the oil markets, on the sidelines of the Davos Economic Conference in Switzerland.

This came in an interview with the prince on Bloomberg, excerpts of which were published by the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs on its official page on Twitter, where he said: “We have a significant partnership with Russia regarding OPEC +, a partnership that has secured stability in the oil market, and it is an invaluable partner for us that is still a major source of our revenue.”

“Furthermore, (the partnership) is significant for the international community. We see other energy sources experiencing significant price fluctuations, and we have maintained oil stability relatively, which is noteworthy. We will deal with Russia on that, and we will deal with Russia as we talk to find a way to resolve the conflict. ” he noted.

He added, “We have other issues with Russia that we are working on, and we are also working with Ukraine, as it is a major trading partner for us.”
