Japan opens its doors to Saudis for tourism starting in October

The government of Japan has announced the resumption of individual travelers for tourism purposes from October 11.

 

The government also approved the continuation of receiving travelers to Japan from countries whose citizens are allowed to enter without a visa.

 

The daily maximum number of daily arrivals will be abolished; This allows visitors to spend more time in Japan than in the past two and a half years.

 

The head of JNTO in the Middle East, Satoshi Seno, commented, “The Japanese government recently announced the resumption of individual travel for tourism purposes, and also announced the cancellation of the visa and the abolition of the daily maximum number of arrivals per day.

 

He added, we are very happy to welcome our visitors again after fully dealing with the epidemic during a long waiting period of two and a half years.

 

In this context, the Japan National Tourism Authority is doing everything in its power to provide its visitors with the latest information about traveling to Japan with the aim of tourism and visiting every place in our hospitable and loving country.

 

Kobayashi Daisuke, Executive Director of JNTO Middle East, said: “The Middle East has been designated as one of 22 strategic international markets targeted by JNTO.

 

He added, since the opening of the Japan National Tourism Organization regional office in Dubai in November 2021; we have been waiting impatiently and have been working tirelessly to prepare for the day when international visitors can return to Japan.”
