Imam Abdulaziz Royal Reserve Authority Grants Licenses to 40 Tour Guides

The Imam Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Royal Reserve Development Authority (IARDA) has officially licensed over 40 tour guides who successfully completed specialized training programs. These guides have met all certification requirements for the Imam Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Royal Reserve and the King Khalid Royal Reserve, in partnership with the Ministry of Tourism.

IARDA CEO Dr. Talal AlHarigi emphasized that ecotourism is a strategic priority, contributing to environmental awareness, the promotion of natural landscapes, and the preservation of cultural heritage and biodiversity. Additionally, he reaffirmed IARDA’s commitment to training and empowering national tour guides, recognizing their essential role in connecting visitors with nature and promoting sustainability.

During the certification event, Eng. Hassan Jannah, Deputy Minister of Data and Decision Support and Acting Deputy Minister of Human Capital Development at the Ministry of Tourism, highlighted the ministry’s dedication to developing the tour guide sector. He  also noted that this initiative enhances professionalism, standardizes industry practices, and equips guides to deliver exceptional tourism experiences across Saudi Arabia.

Finally, IARDA continues to advance sustainable ecotourism in close collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism. This initiative aligns with Vision 2030, transforming the Imam Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Royal Reserve and the King Khalid Royal Reserve into integrated tourist destinations that enrich visitor experiences and enhance quality of life.
