ICESCO, SASO Discuss Cooperation on Quality Standards
Dr. Salim bin Mohammed AlMalik, Director General of the Islamic World Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (ICESCO), met yesterday in Rabat with Dr. Saad bin Othman Alkasabi, Governor of the Saudi Standards, Metrology, and Quality Organization (SASO) and Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors.
The discussions focused on opportunities for collaboration in the field of quality, emphasizing strategies to integrate quality as a fundamental pillar for enhancing performance across various sectors. Both parties agreed to work together on implementing updated quality standards set by relevant Islamic and international bodies.
Dr. Alkasabi praised ICESCO’s efforts in promoting excellence and innovation across its areas of expertise within the Islamic world.
