Saudi Communications Ministry signs an agreement with ISESCO
The Islamic Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization and the Saudi Communications Ministry signed a memorandum of agreement today, Thursday (ISESCO).
The signing takes place on the sidelines of ISESCO’s 14th General Conference, which is being hosted by Cairo.
Engineer Haitham bin Abdulrahman Al-Ohali, Deputy Minister of Communications and Information Technology, and Dr. Salem bin Muhammad Al-Malik, Director-General of the organisation, signed the memorandum in the presence of a number of officials from both sides.
This memorandum is part of the Saudi Communications Ministry’s plan to encourage the formation of successful partnerships with counterparts in Arab nations in order to improve the level of digital skills of Arab citizens through training and education initiatives.
Sudan, Egypt, Mauritania, Djibouti, Lebanon, Algeria, Tunisia, Morocco, Jordan, Bahrain, Oman, the United Arab Emirates, and Kuwait are among the Arab countries that will participate in the digital donating project.
