For his part, the Director General of the General Department of Livestock Services, Dr. Ibrahim Qassem, stressed the need to adhere to the health and legal requirements set by the ministry when buying the sacrifice, including that the sacrifice is not sick, lame, or lean, and that it be over 6 months old for sheep, and above One year for goats, and five years for camels.

And he called during his intervention in the program “Morning Saudi Arabia today (Tuesday), to avoid buying sacrifices that come out of her nose or top secretions, or those that suffer from poor breathing, or on which he observed a change in the external appearance, or the presence of parasites or wounds in them.
