Heritage Commission Hosts Eid Al-Adha Welcome at Thee Ain Historical Village

To celebrate Eid Al-Adha, the Heritage Commission, in collaboration with the Principality of Al-Baha Region, launched a special initiative to welcome visitors to Thee Ain Historical Village in Al-Makhwah Governorate, Al-Baha Region.

As part of the celebration, a hospitality corner was set up where guests received welcome gifts and informative materials highlighting the cultural and historical significance of both Thee Ain and the broader Al-Baha Region.

Thee Ain Historical Village
Thee Ain Historical Village stands out as a major tourist attraction, renowned for its distinctive architectural style and captivating heritage features. The village is famed for its stone-built homes with juniper wood roofs, balconies decorated with triangular quartz patterns, and ancient defensive towers once used for protection and surveillance. Its fertile lands also make it ideal for growing crops such as pandanus and bananas, further enhancing its appeal as a unique cultural and natural destination.
