The Hail Region Municipality signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) yesterday with the Saudi Tourism Investment Company, “Asfar,” wholly owned by the Saudi Public Investment Fund. The signing took place during the 2024 Cityscape Global Exhibition held at the Exhibition and Conference Center in Malham, Riyadh.
The ceremony was attended by the Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, Mr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, along with officials from both parties.
The agreement was signed by the Secretary of Hail Region, Engineer Sultan bin Hamed Al-Zaidi, and the CEO of Asfar, Dr. Fahd Hussein bin Mishait. This strategic partnership aims to enhance urban appeal, leverage green spaces for investment and tourism, provide unique entertainment offerings, and invest in Hail’s heritage sites, which are registered on UNESCO’s World Heritage List.
