Hail Region Municipality launched the construction of the Granada Park project in Hail city.
This initiative is part of the development projects launched by the Prince of Hail and executed by the Secretariat, aimed at improving community welfare and enhancing the livability of cities. Moreover, the goal is to upgrade essential facilities across a region spanning 25,000 square meters.
The Assistant Secretary of the Hail Region for the Media Sector, Saud Al Ali, explained that the park includes green spaces covering 8,494 square meters. It also includes a garden and 600 natural trees, along with ground covers.
Al Ali mentioned that the park features a 627-square-meter open play area with public and smart services, a 980-meter pedestrian path, and a 670-meter cycling track. The project also includes three sports fields, three open seating areas, 115 lighting poles, and two children’s playgrounds with wooden canopies.
Finally, he noted that the project’s goal is to increase green space per capita, enhance sports activities with walking paths, expand recreational areas for residents and tourists, and create a safe, attractive environment, all aligned with Saudi Vision 2030.
