Wheat Festival Kicks off in its1st Edition at Miqwa Center Park

Governor of Tabarjal, Nader Al-Otaibi, inaugurated the first edition of the Wheat Festival at the Miqwa Center Park. The festival is organized by the branch of the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture in the Al-Jawf region.

The festival is held with the participation of 25 farmers and agricultural companies, in addition to productive families. Moreover, it includes a variety of sections, pavilions, and events, most notably 30 platforms for displaying the products and services of the participants, a children’s theater, awareness and entertainment activities, as well as many specialized agricultural workshops for wheat farmers. The festival also aims to support farmers, introduce their products, and open new marketing channels.

Visitors can explore a wide range of locally grown produce and handcrafted goods. The event also features live cooking demonstrations using fresh, farm-sourced ingredients. Educational sessions on sustainable farming practices are scheduled throughout the day. Local musicians and performers provide entertainment, adding to the festive atmosphere.
Furthermore, the Wheat Festival concludes with an awards ceremony recognizing the best agricultural practices and innovations.
