The Hail Region Municipality has completed the construction of 168 parks and urban interventions in Hail as part of the “Bahja” project. It focuses on creating and renewing public parks and recreational areas in various cities and governorates across the Kingdom.
The municipality announced that Hail now boasts 3.8 million square meters of parks and green spaces, with 152,000 trees and shrubs, 180,000 meters of pedestrian paths, 55,000 meters of bicycle paths, 200 playgrounds, 25 sports fields, 171 fitness stations, and 587 smart benches. Additionally, 135,000 meters of paths for the visually impaired and 32 games for people with special needs were added to serve all community segments.
