Guinness Acknowledges World’s Highest Prayer Space in Makkah
Hanging Prayer Space's Strategic Location
Guinness World Records has officially recognized the “Hanging Prayer Space” as the highest of its kind, setting a global standard in excellence.
This architectural marvel reflects a unique style, offering visitors panoramic views of Mecca’s religious landmarks. These include the sacred Masjid al-Haram and the Kaaba, providing a vibrant backdrop during the Umrah and Hajj seasons.
Hanging Prayer Space’s Strategic Location
Perched within a bridge connecting two hotel towers, the prayer space is strategically situated 483 meters above sea level and 179 meters above the internal road level. Consequently, this record-breaking height makes it the world’s tallest suspended prayer area.
Additionally, it’s part of the upper floors of the Address Hotel Jabal Omar Mecca, directly facing the revered Masjid al-Haram.
Design, Spiritual Elegance
Guinness World Records notably observed the space’s intricate Arabesque designs, modern touches, and Arabic calligraphy, which collectively add to its dignity. Furthermore, it includes the beautiful Asma ul Husna (the names of Allah), effectively reflecting the rich Islamic heritage.

Khaled Al Amoudi, CEO of Jabal Omar Development, expressed pride in the inclusion of the Hanging Prayer Space in the Guinness World Records. He also highlighted the commitment to offering exceptional experiences to pilgrims and travelers. The space provides unique views and an ideal destination for visitors.
