French Amb. to Saudi Arabia Celebrates National Day, Commends Bilateral Friendship — The French Ambassador to KSA Ludovic Pouille

The French Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Ludovic Pouille, celebrated the French National Day on July 14, marking the end of his term as an ambassador to the Kingdom.

According to the ambassador’s video on “X”, Pouille expressed his happiness as the annual Bastille Day coincides with the Olympic and Paralympic Games held in the French capital, Paris.

“Today we celebrate France’s heritage, which is based on the principle of brotherhood, freedom, equality and the human values represented by the Olympic and Paralympic Games,” Pouille said.

Strong Saudi-French Relations

The ambassador also celebrated the outstanding bilateral relations between France and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in all fields.

Pouille expressed sincere gratitude and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman, and his Crown Prince, Mohammad bin Salman, for their unwavering support to deepen the friendship between both countries and boost the bilateral strategic partnerships.

“We commend the Saudi-French high-level coordination and cooperation to resolve several conflicts in the region and the world, including Gaza, Sudan and Ukraine,” Pouille added.

Furthermore, he praised the Kingdom’s efforts to build a more stable, safe, sustainable and prosperous planet.

Saudi Generous Hospitality

The ambassador seized the opportunity and deeply thanked Saudi government and people for their generous hospitality and true friendship.

He said: “Thanks to your unwavering support and love for France, the bilateral relations have witnessed great prosperity in all fields during the four wonderful years I have spent with you.”

Pouille concluded his speech by emphasizing that there are no limits to Saudi-French ambitions. “The sky is our limit. Long live France, long live Saudi Arabia, and long live the friendship between France and Saudi Arabia.”

Successful Journey in Saudi Arabia

On Thursday, Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh, warmly welcomed Pouille in his office on the occasion of the end of his term as France’s ambassador to the Kingdom.

Prince Faisal and Pouille exchanged friendly talks, and the prince wished him the best in his professional career.

In the same context, Pouille expressed his sincere thanks to the prince for his cooperation and support that facilitated his successful journey in the Kingdom.
