The Formula 1® stc Saudi Arabian Grand Prix has been awarded Event Spectacle at the 2025 Formula 1® Promoter Awards in London, celebrating the Jeddah Corniche Circuit for delivering the season’s most distinctive entertainment and immersive fan experiences. The award recognizes the event’s seamless fusion of elite motorsport with world-class off-track programming.
Since its debut in 2021, the Jeddah Corniche Circuit has established itself as a standout venue on the Formula 1 calendar. Moreover, the fastest street circuit in the sport, it boasts average lap speeds of 252 km/h, with drivers at full throttle for 79 percent of the lap—delivering an unrivaled spectacle of speed complemented by globally acclaimed live entertainment.
Looking ahead, the 2026 season is set to mark a defining moment for the Kingdom. Defending champion Lando Norris is expected to face strong competition from Max Verstappen and Oscar Piastri, while the grid welcomes the highly anticipated debut of Audi and the arrival of Cadillac as Formula 1’s 11th team.
The season will also introduce a major technical evolution, with all-new car designs aimed at enhancing closer, more competitive racing. In parallel, the return of the F1 Academy will continue to empower the next generation of female motorsport talent, underscoring Formula 1’s commitment to inclusivity and future growth.
