Saudi Arabia’s energy and chemicals giant, Aramco, unveiled its inaugural marine station, “Aramco Marina“, on Thursday, marking an important milestone for the company.
Located at the Jeddah Yacht Club along the picturesque Red Sea coast, the station will cater to the fuel needs of yachts and boats while coinciding with the commencement of the Formula 1 Saudi Grand Prix.
The opening ceremony was graced by Mr. Nabil Al-Jamea, Executive Vice President of Human Resources and Support Services at Saudi Aramco, alongside Mr. Ziad Al-Jarifani, Vice President of Retail at Saudi Aramco, and Mr. Ahmed Al-Sulaiman, CEO of Tas’hilat Marketing Company.
The newly launched “Aramco Marina” station, operating under the prestigious Saudi Aramco brand, will play a crucial role in supporting the tourism sector and promoting overall development in the Kingdom.
Serving local and international customers
It will serve both local and international customers, offering a range of diesel and gasoline options.
With an impressive annual operating capacity of over 65 million liters, the station aims to meet the growing demand for high-quality fuel.
Highlighting the significance of this venture, Mr. Yasser Mufti, Executive Vice President of the Business Sector for Products and Customers at Saudi Aramco, emphasized the company’s commitment to modernizing infrastructure and contributing to the Kingdom’s economic growth.
“The establishment of ‘Aramco Marina’ marks a significant step in expanding our presence across the value chain in the Kingdom. Our goal is to introduce cutting-edge retail fuel stations, enhance customer service experiences, and drive advancements in various business sectors,” he stated.
Situated adjacent to the Corniche Formula 1 racing circuit, the Jeddah Yacht Club offers a picturesque waterfront view.
The marina, which can accommodate yachts and boats of up to 120 meters in length, is a testament to Saudi Arabia’s ambition to become a prominent yachting hub.
Complementing the marina is a vibrant area featuring international restaurants and cafes that offer breathtaking views of the sea, further enhancing the overall experience for visitors.
With the launch of “Aramco Marina,” Saudi Aramco solidifies its position as a leading player in the energy and chemicals industry, while simultaneously contributing to the Kingdom’s ambitious tourism and economic goals.
