GACA to Host Future Aviation Forum in Riyadh, Under the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ Patronage
The General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) has announced the upcoming third edition of the Future Aviation Forum 2024 (FAF 2024), set to take place in Riyadh from May 20 to 22.
Under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, the event is expected to bring together over 5,000 international experts, airline leaders, and aviation officials from participating countries.
The FAF 2024 aims to address a range of global aviation issues, including air transportation, environmental sustainability in the civil aviation sector, advanced air transport capabilities, and the enhancement of global connectivity.
Leading logistics center in the Middle East
With a focus on realizing national strategic objectives, the forum seeks to position the Kingdom as a leading logistics center in the Middle East while fostering an attractive investment environment in the sector.
Distinguished attendees will include heads of states, CEOs of international airlines, manufacturers, and airport executives, who will collaborate to shape the future of international air transport.
The previous edition of the forum witnessed the participation of 60 countries, resulting in 52 agreements and memoranda of understanding.
The 116 bilateral meetings were held, leading to the introduction of significant policies and strategies for the civil aviation sector.
The FAF 2024 is also expected to facilitate numerous partnerships between the public and private sectors, further bolstering the aviation industry’s growth and development.
