Flynas Records Increase of 51% in Number of Passengers

Flynas, the Saudi air carrier and the leading low-cost airline in the Middle East and the world, announced the results of its operational performance during the first quarter of 2024, compared to the same period of last year 2023.

During the first quarter of 2024, Flynas carried more than 3.7 million passengers on its flights, recording an increase of 51% in the number of passengers on an annual basis compared to the first quarter of 2023.

It continued to achieve the goals of its ambitious growth strategy and succeeded in increasing the size of its fleet to meet the growing demand from Passengers.

CEO of flynas Bandar Al-Mohanna said that the strong start that the company witnessed at the beginning of the year demonstrates the great success of flynas’ ambitious growth strategy.

“Thanks to the economic prosperity witnessed by the Kingdom and our continuing efforts to keep pace with the increasing demand from travelers, we have been able to expand our customer base. This remarkable performance was supported by several key factors, including relying on the best talents and cadres, expanding the size of our fleet, launching new travel destinations and stations, providing innovative products that meet travelers’ aspirations, and enhancing our loyalty program.”

Flynas Achievments in 2023

During 2023, Flynas launched 39 routes to 18 new destinations in 10 countries. Moreover, it opened its fourth operations center at Prince Mohammed Bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Medina. Flynas currently operates more than 1,500 flights weekly covering more than 70 local and international destinations.

Flynas‘s success was crowned with many international awards. It won fourth place as the best low-cost airline in the world in 2023. In addition, it won for the sixth year in a row the award for the best low-cost airline in the Middle East, according to the international “Skytrax”.
