Diriyah is set to host the third deputies meeting of the International Monetary Fund’s (IMF) International Monetary and Financial Committee (IMFC) from April 6 to 7, 2025, under the chairmanship of Saudi Arabia.
The two-day meeting will bring together key global financial leaders to discuss pressing issues such as recent economic developments and strategies to enhance global financial stability. It will also shape the IMF’s upcoming work agenda in preparation for the IMFC ministerial meetings.

The event will be officially opened by Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Finance, Mohammed Aljadaan, alongside IMF Managing Director Dr. Kristalina Georgieva. Moreover, a series of high-level sessions will follow, focusing on global economic challenges, response mechanisms, and the IMF’s evolving role in the global financial landscape.
