Defense Ministry organizes the 3rd Conference on Mental Health in the Military Environment

The Ministry of Defense’s General Administration of Health Services, represented by the Department of Armed Forces Hospitals in the Taif Region and the Armed Forces Center for Psychological Care in Taif, launched the Third Conference on Mental Health in the Military Environment today (Tuesday), which will last three days.

The conference’s goal is to provide psychological support to military heroes for their role in preserving the homeland’s security and sanctity, as well as to address the psychological impacts of the Corona pandemic.

Some military and civilian leaders in the Ministry of Defense and senior specialists in psychiatry and mental health will participate in the conference

The focus will be on (mental disorders during the Corona pandemic, addiction disorders, psychological standards and tests, psychological and social support for the military and their families), and the latest developments in this field.

It is noteworthy that 20 hours of continuous medical training will be accredited by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.
