Crown Prince receives a delegation of King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness

His Royal Highness Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defense received today the delegation of the King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity “Mawhiba” headed by the Acting Secretary-General, Dr. Amal bint Abdullah Al-Hazza, and the talented students who won the ISEF 2022 exhibition from Recipients of major and special prizes.

His Highness the Crown Prince expressed his happiness and pride in what the talented students have achieved in the international competition and the honorable appearance of this wonderful achievement that motivates other citizens of the country.

His Highness the Crown Prince indicated that this achievement is a step at the beginning of their lives for a prosperous future, God willing, wishing them success in their next path.

The talented students achieved a global scientific achievement, as the sons of Salman excelled and set records at the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF 2022) held in Atlanta, Georgia, by achieving 22 international awards, including 15 major awards and 6 special awards.

The talented Saudi Abdullah Al-Ghamdi scored a historic achievement by winning 4 awards at once for his qualitative project in the field of energy, where he won the first place award in the energy track, the award for the best project at the level of all projects participating from the countries of the world in ISEF, and two special awards.

The major prizes won by the Saudi science and engineering team included two prizes in the first place, two in second place, five in third place, and six in fourth place.

The student Abdullah Al-Ghamdi won two prizes in the field of energy, the student Dana Al-Eithan in the field of chemistry, the student Tahani Adel in the field of materials science, the student Maria Al-Ghamdi in the field of chemistry, and the student Youssef Khoja in the field of embedded systems.

With this achievement, the Kingdom raised the balance of its special prizes at ISEF 2022 to 105 prizes, as it has participated in the exhibition since 2007, including 69 major prizes and 36 special prizes.
