Conference on Maternal-Fetal Medicine Starts in Jeddah

Today marked the commencement of the second international conference of the Saudi Society of Maternal-Fetal Medicine, reported Saudi Press Agency.

The society organized the conference over two days at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Jeddah.

The conference program includes advanced presentations on the latest data, new clinical methods, and unique case studies.

The aim is to familiarize attendees with the latest tools and knowledge in maternal and fetal medicine.

The conference also aims to enhance the level of healthcare for mothers while boosting general awareness of the health of pregnant mothers and fetuses.

Moreover, the conference features a number of lectures on artificial intelligence in maternal, fetal medicine and recent developments in preterm birth.

Additionally, the lectures tackle genetic screening for fetal anomalies, and multiple pregnancies, including screening and prevention of preterm birth in twin pregnancies.

The second international conference of the Saudi Society for Maternal and Fetal Medicine also includes workshops that discuss a range of topics.

Among the discussed topics is emergency obstetric cases in pregnancy, fetal imaging with ultrasound, legal and ethical issues in gynecology and obstetrics, and advanced ultrasound screening in gynecology.
