Al-Sudais: Narrating Success Stories of Holy Mosques in 50 Global Languages
Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais, the head of religious affairs at the Holy Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, emphasized the paramount importance of conveying the spiritual message of the Holy Mosques globally by bolstering the translation and languages program to encompass fifty languages.
This initiative is aimed at narrating the religious success stories of the Holy Mosques in global languages, aligning with the future strategies of the presidency in delivering the spiritual message of the Holy Mosques worldwide.
Global Religious Endeavor
During a meeting with the officials responsible for translation and languages, Al-Sudais elucidated on the pivotal role of translation in propagating the authenticity of Islam, its moderate approach, central values, and humanitarian attributes worldwide.
This endeavor is also directed at educating, raising awareness, and enriching the religious experiences of the visitors and pilgrims in their diverse languages.
Integrated System
Al-Sudais directed the officials to leverage modern technologies and artificial intelligence to build an integrated religious translation system operational throughout the year, 24 hours a day.
This initiative aims to cater to the religious, scientific, guidance, and educational needs of the Holy Mosques’ visitors, with the varied languages, cultures, and nationalities they represent.
The ultimate goal is to convey the religious message of the Holy Mosques in living global languages, aligning with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 to accommodate and serve over thirty million pilgrims, visitors, and Hajj attendees, benefiting from the strategic Islamic depth of the Holy Mosques in addressing the conscience of Muslims and humanity religiously.
Translation of Arafat Sermon
Stressing the importance of translating the sermon of Arafat, sermons of the Holy Mosques, and the encompassed religious guidelines, scientific lessons held, books, pamphlets, and other educational materials, Al-Sudais called for proficient translators both scientifically and religiously.
The objective is to guide, educate, and raise religious awareness among non-Arabic speaking visitors and pilgrims of the Holy Mosques.
It extends to translating all releases of the presidency of religious affairs, whether read, heard, seen, or electronic, in addition to producing enriching religious content translated into global languages to convey the lofty religious message of the two mosques globally, focusing on Saudi cadres and qualified national hands.
