Saudi Arabia Begins Issuing Umrah Visas for New Season

Saudi Arabia has begun issuing Umrah visas and welcoming Umrah pilgrims as of Sunday, 14 Dhul Hijjah (May 31), marking the start of the new Umrah season, according to the Saudi Gazette.

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah announced that Umrah pilgrims will be permitted to enter Makkah and secure their permits via the Nusuk app starting Monday, June 1.

The Ministry has set 1 Shawwal 1448 (March 9, 2027) as the final date for issuing Umrah visas, according to the 1448 AH Umrah season calendar.

Meanwhile, pilgrims will be allowed to enter the Kingdom until 15 Shawwal 1448 (March 23, 2027).

The authorities also confirmed that 30 Shawwal 1448 (April 7, 2027) will be the deadline for the departure of all Umrah pilgrims.

The ministry urged Umrah service providers and international agents to strictly abide by the approved schedule and all relevant regulations and directives to ensure seamless services and secure season for all pilgrims.
