Oman Air has announced the launch of a new Muscat–Taif route, with scheduled flights set to begin on January 31, 2026, according to Gulf News.
The new service expands the airline’s regional network, marking the Oman Air’s fifth destination in Saudi Arabia, following Jeddah, Riyadh, Dammam and Madinah.
Through a Boeing 737 aircraft, the airline will operate the new Taif route three times a week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
Therefore, travelers will enjoy convenient flight timings as well as Oman Air’s signature onboard service, ensuring a smooth and seamless travel experience.
“Expanding into Taif strengthens the strong economic and cultural ties between Oman and Saudi Arabia. It also enables us to better serve our guests by providing greater choice and convenience,” Con Korfiatis, Chief Executive Officer of Oman Air, said.
By adding Taif to its network, Oman Air further reinforces regional connectivity, facilitating smoother travel across the Gulf countries and boosting broader economic, cultural, and social ties.
