
The International Islamic Trade Finance Corporation (ITFC), a member of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Group, hosted a series of workshops in partnership with Tajikistan’s Ministry of Economic Development and Trade to promote Islamic finance through knowledge sharing between the IsDB Group and the Republic of Tajikistan.
Over 50 participants from financial institutions and government bodies attended the sessions which focused on strengthening Islamic trade finance using Shariah-compliant practices and enhancing professional expertise in the Islamic finance sector to better serve communities in member countries.
The ITFC highlighted its commitment to supporting member states by developing tailored capacities, financial instruments, and integrated financing solutions.
These workshops are part of ITFC’s wider initiatives to foster economic growth in member countries and contribute to the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
