Saudi Arabia is strongly participating in the International Falcon Breeders Auction 2024 with more than 13 local production farms crystalizing the beauty of elite falcon breeds, reported the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
This year’s participation is totally different compared to the previous years with broad engagements and great excitement from the Saudi farms to showcase their falcons in the auction.
Naif Abdulmohsen Al Masoud from the Al-Nader Center for Falcons stated that the current remarkable increase was driven by a successful strategy adopted by the Saudi Falcons Club to support producers through a vast array of facilitations.

Al Masoud clarified that the latest promotions have significantly boosted the quality of local production especially with a whole dedicated section in the Mazayen competition for the local production category at the King Abdulaziz Falconry Festival.
Furthermore, the owner of Thalan Falcon Farm, Abdullah Al-Masoud, explained that he has been part of the production field for four years, as he participated last year with one falcon, while he is currently participating with five falcons. He expressed sincere appreciation to the pivotal role of the Saudi Falcons Club to preserve one of the most prominent aspects of the Saudi heritage.

Extending over 20 days, at the headquarters of the Saudi Falcons Club in Malham, north of Riyadh, the auction captures 35 production farms from over 16 countries around the world.
The event will conclude on August 24 providing a valuable opportunity for falconers and falcon producers to gather annually and discuss several topics of mutual concern.
