Dammam Airports, Zain Saudi Arabia Collaborate to Boost Aviation Digital Transformation
Dammam Airports Company will strengthen its digital infrastructure across airport operations through a strategic partnership with Zain Saudi Arabia, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
The memorandum of understanding (MoU) seeks to further elevate Zain’s contribution to the national aviation sector while promoting the overall passenger experience.
The deal was signed at King Fahd International Airport headquarters by Eng. Mohammed Al-Hassany, CEO of Dammam Airports, and Eng. Saad Al-Sadhan, CEO of Zain Saudi Arabia.
Under the partnership, Zain Saudi Arabia will explore the development of an integrated digital system for Dammam Airports Company, leveraging advanced technical solutions powered by one of the Kingdom’s most advanced 5G networks.
Interestingly, the proposed solutions feature cloud services via Zain Cloud, which has received the highest rating from the Communications, Space and Technology Commission, as well as Wi-Fi solutions, broader digital infrastructure, and technical support services.
By perfectly aligning with Zain Saudi Arabia’s broader strategy to advance the Kingdom’s digital transformation agenda, the agreement offers unwavering support to key economic sectors, including travel, transport, and logistics. It also boosts Dammam Airports Company’s efforts to solidify the Kingdom’s status as a prestigious global hub for tourism and air travel.
Through the adoption of the latest cutting-edge technologies and smart applications, the partnership stands as a testament to Dammam Airports Company’s efforts to establish a pioneering model for airport services in the Eastern Province.
