Pakistan Sends Fighter Jets, Thousands of Troops to Saudi Arabia Amid Iran Conflict

Pakistan has sent 8,000 troops, along with a squadron of fighter jets and an air defence system, to Saudi Arabia under a mutual defence agreement—deepening military ties with Riyadh even while Islamabad continues to act as a key mediator in the Iran conflict, according to Reuters.

The scale of the deployment—reported here for the first time—was confirmed by multiple security and government sources. They described it as a significant, combat-ready force designed to assist Saudi Arabia’s military in the event of further attacks on the kingdom.
