Pakistan Sends Fighter Jets, Thousands of Troops to Saudi Arabia Amid Iran Conflict

The scale of the deployment—reported here for the first time—was confirmed by multiple security and government sources. They described it as a significant, combat-ready force designed to assist Saudi Arabia’s military in the event of further attacks on the kingdom.
According to the sources, Pakistan deployed an entire squadron of about 16 aircraft, mostly JF-17 fighter jets jointly manufactured with China, and sent them to Saudi Arabia in early April. Two security officials said that Pakistan also sent two squadrons of drones.
