Winners in Digital Entrepreneurship Challenges to Receive Prizes Tomorrow
Today marked the end of the Digital Entrepreneurship Challenges. Members of 56 participating teams showcased their creativity in a heated competition before the judges.
The judges will announce the results tomorrow, Sunday, at the closing ceremony.
The University President Abdullah bin Yahya Al-Hussein, and the Deputy Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Engineer Mohammed Al-Rabiaan will attend the closing ceremony at the main theater in the university city. Three winners will be awarded prizes totaling SAR 450,000.
Digital Entrepreneurship Challenges
Al Baha University hosted today Digital Entrepreneurship Challenges in partnership with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, reported Saudi Press Agency.
Over 120 entrepreneurs and innovators gathered to develop pioneering and technological solutions to support the technology sector in the Kingdom.
The Director of the Incubators and Entrepreneurship Center said that this phase of the Challenges was a decisive, in-person competition lasting two days.
During this phase, participants showcased their innovations and competed for the jury’s approval.
He highlighted that the program was the biggest challenge in the region. It included prizes up to 450,000 Riyals distributed among three winners.
Entrepreneurship Bootcamp in China
Moreover, in a groundbreaking initiative, the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) launched its Entrepreneurship Bootcamp in China.
This event marked a significant milestone in fostering cross-border innovation and cultural exchange. The bootcamp was designed to empower the next generation of entrepreneurs.
Also, the camp brought together a diverse group of individuals with a common vision: to transform their groundbreaking ideas into tangible, market-ready products.
